The performance of the proposed system will be tested through scenarios in which the number of active users at a given time in the network will vary, different modulation techniques will be used (BPSK, QPSK) when the channel is affected by different types of fading (Rayleigh, Rice ) and Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) using real spread codes (Walsh-Hadamard and PN). You cannot use preexisting Matlab modulators for this project. Develop a PSK passband modulator in Matlab. This program should take a pseudo random bit sequence and map that to QPSK waveforms. You may pick your carrier frequency and the number of samples in a symbol. Output of this code should be a sampled analog waveform with AGWN. Develop a PSK passband coherent demodulator in Matlab. This program should take the output of the modulator and detect which symbols were sent. Output of this program should be a constellation diagram and the bit error probability Your transmitter should take the output of the Pseudo_Random_15_Generator.m function, create QPSK waveforms at a carrier frequency of your choice, add a variable amount of AGWN. Follow the steps below: 1. Install MATLAB and make sure to include the LTE T...LTE Toolbox. 2. Follow the instructions shown in the following webpage: to create a BER cure for the Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) of an LTE network. Here, you need only to change the SNR range to be from -3 to 20 dB. a. Show the BER curves when you are varying the modulation and coding scheme (MSC) from: QPSK, 16-QAM, 64-QAM, to 256-QAM b. Discuss the obtained plots and explain in details your findings. You need to mention the impact of the chosen MCS on the BER, and how receivers have to adaptively adjust their MSC to ensure an acceptable BER range. I have done 1 and 2(a) as shown in attachment , I need help for 2(b)

I am working on a project to be able to demodulate satellite radio using GNU Radio. The goal is to figure out what modulation is being used. It's not traditional DVB, but a hybrid of QPSK and OFDM modulation. The width of the carrier is 12.5Mhz. You need to show that you have experience doing GNU radio demodulations to win this project. I am not able to figure out how to do it myself so this is why I am posting the project. The carrier has each two-carrier group broadcast 100 8-kilobit-per-second streams in approximately 4 MHz of radio spectrum. These streams were combined using a patented process to form a variable number of channels using a variety of bitrates. Bandwidth is separated into segments of 4-kilobit-per-second virtual "streams" ...

I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for Windows.
its basically a Qpsk constellation diagram you have to show how the fading co efficient rotate the symbols. you've to show the original symbol transmission in constellation diagram and the shifting of symbols after applying 2 and 4 bit quantization. how adding extra bits to the quantizer makes the received signal away from error prone boundaries. explain in word file notes the theoretical concepts in easy way as well as explain the matlab code in detail. Add comments besides each steps and parameters of the code . i am also attaching a reference paper for you to understand what kind of output im looking for ( check the centering propery diagrams).

On the other side, signal is picked up by hydrophone and the same is pre-amplified and given to my receiver code as a la...
Your project consists of simulating a DL OFDM signal assuming single port output (no MIMO). The signal consists of samples spaced Tc apart and using the NR number of subcarriers and subcarrier spacing as specified in TS 38.101-1 (FR1 range only, Table 5.3.2-1). To map the bit stream onto the complex QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM symbols, use the mapping rules provided in TS 38.211, sections 5.1.3, 5.1.4 and 5.1.5 (no Matlab direct mapping should be used). The generated signal, represented by the IFFT, is a baseband signal; you do not need to upconvert it.

Simulate and plot the bit-error-rate (BER) versus signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) curve for QPSK and 16-QAM for the range of SNR from 0 dB to 20 dB (you could simulate every 2 dB, i.e., 0 dB, 2 dB, . . ., 20 dB). Compare the simulated curve with the theoretical curve. So you need to have 2 figures (one for QPSK and one for 16-QAM) and each figure should contain 2 curves (one from simulation and one from theoretic formula). Both curves should look like a waterfall.
When signal-to-noise ratio is 0dB , 8dB , 16 dB , plot the noisy constellation points for 16-QAM and QPSK .You need to have 6 figures ( 3 for QPSK , where one corresponds to SNR value , 3 for 16-QAM ) Matlab code is necessary and figures must be labelled .
