I'm looking to create a binding within Openhab for an Elmo alarm system. The binding needs to enable the following functionalities: - Remote arming and disarming of the alarm system. - Monitoring the status of individual sensors and zones. - Sending sensor states to OpenHAB items. I do have a similar project that was written in Python for Home Assistant which I can provide as reference and guidance. Hello everyone, I would like to integrate my Hanazeder heating control system into my Home Assistant system. I have received a description from the manufacturer (see attachment) and found a ready-made script on the Internet () This can certainly be adapted accordingly, as it was written for OpenHab and MySQL. Now to my environment: Synology NAS with Docker (container manager) and running on the system: Home Assistant OS (latest) InfluxDb (latest) Grafana (latest) All these containers were installed with the usual default settings and are not yet synchronized. The connection from the NAS to the heating control should be made via a serial Ethernet converter. Type: USR-Wifi232-630 (RS232 for the heating system and the second chanel for my battery system)

This project is an automation lighting control with around 50 zones. The controller will be using Raspberry Pi and OpenHab server. Hi , Ive got an Alexa Skill that was deployed by another freelancer into AWS Lambda. It links via OAUTH to my AWS EC2 cloud server. This skill allows turning on/off smart home devices. What I dont know is if my linux server needs to have some kind of Mail setup to do this, or is this enough.
