Freelance Video Producer / Editor / Filmmaker required to create a large and ongoing number of succinct biographies about a range of individual philanthropists. The ultimate aim is to produce 500 short films, each profiling a different philanthropist. Initially, you would produce a set of 50 short films but then the number of films will grow as more are produced over time. Each film will be between 2 and 4 minutes long. it will explain the journey of how the philanthropist became wealthy, and highlight the generosity of donating their money to worthy causes, with information focussing on who benefitted and how. The content of the film must be entertaining, informative, accurate and somewhat humorous, where possible. As a starting point, I will provide the name and a brief description of the philanthropist. You will then be required to research and source further information from publically archived footage, images, music and other material available online. Payment will be for each completed film, the amount is to be agreed after discussion of fees. This is potentially an ongoing role. Due to the vast quantity of films I would like to create, this may suit a full time position, or equally the role may be shared between a number of individuals.
