Correct (stretch?) audio portion of MPG file(s)

I have two MPG files, each only 2-3 minutes in length. When playing either the video displays at the correct speed, however the audio portion plays at double speed (sounds like chipmunks) and then stops exactly half-way through the video. I need to have the audio portion of each video corrected. My knowledge and experience is extremely limited and so I am turning to a Freelancer to perform this task. I think (but I am not sure) if the audio needs to be "stretched" within the video? After being corrected, please provide each file in MPG format. For reference I've attached the information about each video, how it was encoded, etc.
