I have used Jenkins since 2008, when it was still Hudson. At the time I was at Yahoo! and I was tasked with release engineering, build / test automation and production deployment responsibilities for a video ad platform which Yahoo! wanted to roll out across all of their properties. My use of Jenkins has been extensive and has varied from small shops to massive scalable deployments. One of the big problems I find with Jenkins is that its plugins offer such a huge number of capabilities, but they aren't very widely publicized. Very few people know about the best ones...for example, Swarm allows you to self-register a slave with the Jenkins master, making it easy to standup new slaves for build and/or test automation - there is no need for an admin to register the new slave in the Jenkins master. It will be automatically added and brought online.
