I have installed Ubuntu Version 14.04LTS 32bit, and after that I have installed Vmware Workstation 10, also 32bit, but It does not want to start ! After installation is finished, when I want to run VMware, a system message occurs "VMware Kernel Module Updater" "Before you can run VMware, several modules must be compiled and loaded into the running kernel " when I go to install, Error message occurs "Unable to start services. See log file /tmp/vmware-root/[login to view URL] for details." I have TeamViewer installed on my laptop and need somebody who knows to solve that problem that VMware normally works !

Hi, Please first install gcc and kernel-header then uninstall the vmware workstation and install it again #su - root #apt-get install gcc* #apt-get install kernel* kernel-header* then try to uninstall the vmware-workstation #vmware-installer -u vmware-workstation then again try to install the vmware workstation
