Hi I have adopted two VB6 project with one residing on a #Windows Server / Laptop (Host) and the other on multiple Windows tablets (Clients). Currently the only updates between them has been via a memory stick or local connect. Now the "powers that be" want the host to talk to the Clients and the Clients to talk to the Host. The information will be compiled into a simple data stream on the sending machine and will be unpacked on the receiving machine. I have looked at various options and so far not come up with an acceptable solution. It would be ideal if I could have some way to address the files directly from VB6 so that I place the data from the sending machine into a file that is addressable on the receiving machine. It would also be necessary to be able to automatically scan the files available and only download those. Is what I am proposing possible? What is you suggestion. Can you do this and at what cost in what time frame? Mac
