This takes me back! Your project is similar to work I've done in the past, also in MS-DOS and also using Turbo C, that used a computer's joystick port and SoundBlaster card. So I'm familiar with the tools and concepts involved. A little more recently I contributed work to an Ethernet-card driver for the classic MacOS platform, which used memory-mapped I/O but was otherwise similar. I can create a console based program in C for turbo C compiler. But I can't test it as I don't have the parallel port in my PC, you can contact me later if in any case the program does not work. I have created a project of controlling LEDs through parallel port and a program wrote in C, but I used Dev-C++. I'm not sure why are you using turbo C compiler since its obsolete, but I will do it anyway. Thank you!
