My client has a Joomla 2.5.7 site and it's a SEO mess. Duplicate URLs are getting picked up by the search engines hurting their ranking. They want the URLs in their navigation menus to be the canonical links. But their categories and articles are a mess and I'm having difficulty getting the popular sh404SEF plugin to work properly. You will likely need to re-categorize their articles and fix their categories. Any meta data attached to the menu, category or article will need to be copied/moved to the sh404SEF plugin. The client's sitemap has about 156 links. Once the plugin is working properly and the URLs match the structure of the main navigation menus then I will help move/copy the meta data.
