What is your timeframe for this project? I would approach this by first of all trying to run the machine on a VPS (running a recent version of Debian). If time permits I could also attempt the installation on my own local Debian workstation (running Debian 11). What version of Debian are you running yourself? I would need to check the implications of using a Proxmox machine - as I am not familiar with Proxmox.
