FB API SCRIPTS These scripts are automated, operating at a fixed time each day (eg. 12:01am) • These scripts will analyse Video Posts as well as Image Posts Similar spreadsheet design and folder output as the one attached, except should have Facebook KPIs such as post likes, reactions, shares, # comments, total engagements (all of these together) (this example spreadsheet is for a different social media channel, this is one example of one of the spreadsheets output. there are different variations of output spreadsheets) – collect data for business pages by • Channel search based on list I enter in spreadsheet • Keyword search based on list I enter in spreadsheet • Page type channel search based on list I enter in spreadsheet, or if no entries, list top 100 for all page types • For each search, create 1 output file of image posts and one output file for video posts Similar spreadsheet but collect data for Private Facebook Groups –that I am a member of, but do not own: Put top 50 posts of the day by engagements (likes+comments+shares) in each group. • For each search, create 1 output file of image posts and one output file for video posts Any other additions that come up as we work through this project (I have not researched the FB API so this list is not complete)

This job requires a script that automates the searching, and text extraction activities. The required libraries are available in the python selenium package. Prima facie, I can say the project needs to have a library of common functional helper functions and class that lists the locators of the web elements from the facebook api. Something about me, I have been working with python selenium for the last 6 months. During this time I have been working with various functionalities of selenium, from attribute extraction to text input.
