Project Overview: An India based company involved in recruitment of human resources (Recruitment Company) to a Middle East & North African Group of Companies (Employer) requires a web application which hosts the data of Job Applicants. Current Structure: The Recruitment company receives resume’s/cv’s from various sources through email. The Employer frequently lists the available jobs at their website. The recruitment company looks for the resumes available with them and the profiles of suitable candidates are entered into website of employer. The Employer shortlists the candidates and conducts personal interviews during the recruitment drive held every two months. The selected candidates are issued on the spot offer letters and upon acceptance the VISA process is initiated. Challenges faced in Current Structure: 1. The background screeing of the candidates is initiated after issue of VISA from the employer 2. It has been found that almost 30% candidates selected for jobs have discrepencies in their CV’s. The discrepencies are found during post employment screeing by the employer. 3. The Employer cancels the VISA of fraudulent candidates and cost of recruitment is penalised on the recruitment company. The Proposed Structure: 1. The Recruitment company and employer has agreed to create a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for pre verification of applicants. 2. The SPV will be a 3rd Party Company. 3. The recruitment company will ask its job applicants/resume sources to create candidate profile in the website of SPV Company. 4. The following details are seeked by the SPV from the Job Applicants/ Resume Sources / Recruitmenr Company a. Experience Details b. Education Details c. Personal Details 5. The SPV conducts verification of experience details given by the candidates and marks it as verified/verification under process/ unverifiable 6. The verification of details like education certificates/ physical address are forwarded to verification companies. The charges for the same are collected from the Job Applicants/ Resume Sources / Recruitment Company. 7. The Facility will allow the employer to have pre verified information of the candidates before shortlisting and scheduling interviews during the recruitment drive. Users: a.
