PHP/XML experienced programmer required

We are looking for a highly reliable, efficient and very experienced PHP/ XML programmer to work on our existing popular UK travel website. We are looking for someone to start ASAP. Our website is all PHP/MySQL/XML and has been custom coded, no PEAR or Smarty etc, so you will need to learn the existing system and be able to build upon it. We require you to have: 1. Excellent PHP programming skills with atleast 4 years experience 2. Excellent XML skills 3. Excellent CSS skills 4. Experience in coding custom Content Management Systems 5. Experience in working with location data such as OS grid references and postcodes to list things by locality/distance. 6. Experience of working with/developing hotel reservation systems would be highly advantageous. 7. Design/Flash skills would be advantageous but not essential. We are looking for a highly skilled PHP/XML programmer first and foremost. Initial work will be: 1. We will require you to use XML data provided by our affiliate sites to upgrade our hotel pages throughout, connecting to our partners using full XML API implementation, and recoding our hotel pages using XML, designing and building advanced accommodation search features and implementing them throughout the site. 2. Adding new advanced features to our CMS. 3. Adding new funtionality and features to our site using PHP/CSS/Javascript We can provide you with approx 4 - 5 months permanent work, on or offsite, and then ongoing part-time/permanent work.
