Introduction page needs excitement

Problem: The landing page for [login to view URL] is currently not optimized to generate leads. The page looks untrustworthy, too exciting, and does not explain what the site is in an intuitive manner. Solution: The requirements for this small-scale project are as follows: The landing page should use more images that are consistent with the current site template design, explain better what the site is about, and are just cleaner all around. ** A great example of what we are looking for can be found at [login to view URL] ** The above link should be used as a model. A truely creative designer will know how to replicate an idea without replicating the content. Basically, you would be taking the center portion of the page (above "recent news" and below the logo/login panel) and converting that form of thought into a Quizpoints look & feel: would need content for: - What is Quizpoints? - Sign up - Complete Offers - Earn Points - Get rewarded - a call-to-action (join now!) button - etc, creativity will result in nice bonuses. We want large icons representing actions or explanations about the site. We do not wish to display images that are overexciting (such as "FREE!!!!", etc) or not consistent with the current site design. We also would like some form of a tour-style template. (look at the blogger tour as a guide ... just a few icons, next/back buttons, and a content holder are necessary for this) -- bonuses will be issued to the designer for a really good tour. (details will be provided if you are selected) Here are criteria we will use to select the bidder: - Bidders that provide examples of work they have done in the past will be considered. - Bidders that explain how they plan to accomplish these goals, and possibly provide some demo materials for pre-approval will be considered. - Bidders with good ratings for design-related projects will also be considered ## Deliverables 1) All images will be transferred to and owned by the buyer. The copyright ownership will be owned by the buyer as well. The seller is not permitted to redistribute or create derivatives thereof of the final accepted design or image set. Ultimately, we want the following delivered: A zip file containing all the images, with proper size and resolution (ready-to-display images) A gif or jpg screenshot of what the new page should look like. Don't worry about the code, we will handle that on our own. Some rules: You MUST leave the header and footer entact. You MUST leave the side navigation menu entact. The background color and stylesheet settings must remain the same You are only working with the content in the center of the page. ## Platform Images are the only required resources. Images should be .gif or .jpg format only. You should deliver the photo files also (such as photoshop files, if you use Adobe Photoshop)
