SHA-1 HASH

Here's what I need: I need to have a program generate SHA-1 hash on part of the windows registry and if there are differences from the previous run then it is logged in the event log. I would like an INI file that contains the KEY(s) that need to be hashed. For example the INI file might contain HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_USERS. With these two entries you would walk the entire tree down and generate the hash for each. What would then be stored is two SHA-1 hashes. If this is the first time the key is generated then it should be stored and also logged into the event log saying: (Informational) "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SHA-1 HASH GENERATED" and then have the hash listed. On the next run the hash should be compared to the previous run. If they match then a message in the event log saying something like (Informational) "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SHA-1 HASH MATCHES PREVIOUS VALUE" and then the hash listed. For a mismatch (Warning) "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SHA-1 HASH MISMATCH" and then list the old value and the current value. I would like a GUI that lets me set the hash length.. I would prefer 160,256 and 512 if you can do it. The more the better. You should also be able to point at the INI file and also have a check box to encrypt the resulting hash keys that are for comparison, or just leave them in a text file (INI). Once this info is set the app should be able to run in command line, which just does the check and log dump. WINDOWS NT & 2000 ## Deadline information Source code needed as soon as you have the SHA-1 160bit working. I can give you extra time to complete the 256 & 512 bit hash once I have the 160.
