SQL database conversion from 2005 to 2000

We built a database for our client in MS SQL 2005, but now it turns out that they actually have a MS SQL 2000 system and cannot upgrade. We are looking for someone who can convert database files from 2005 to 2000 and help ensure that it will run on their older MS SQL 2000 system. There MAY BE modifications required for the accompanying ASP application. The database + application is about 200MB (compressed) and I can ftp it to a location you specify. Summary of tasks: 1) Conversion of the database from MS SQL 2005 to MS SQL 2000 2) Changes to tables / etc within the accompanying application (IF necessary) 3) Quick testing of the application by installing it at your end (NECESSARY, but extremely straightforward) 4) Creation of simple screenshot based installation instructions for our clients A DB expert who took a look at this said that the tables used VARCHAR, which are not supported in 2000 and would need to be converted to something appropriate. ----------------------------------------------- Responding to comments: - There are many tables, I'm sorry, but I don't have an exact number (I don't have MS SQL on my system). I'm guessing somewhere between 30-50. - The DB expert mentioned that varchar(max) is being used in the system and it is equivalent to text or varchar(something else) in 2000. - There are no SQL scripts being used. The DB expert also mentioned that. - The application is made using ASP.NET (I checked the directory folder and there are many files *.aspx and *.[login to view URL]) - Regarding stored procedures, it is my understanding from my developers that nothing like that was done. The database was used simply to store information, that's it. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
