Phase 2 development on Modx based classical piano video aggregator site

The site is currently functional, but we now need to carry out some repairs and add social, ugc, seo and monetization elements as follows: 1/. Analyze the repairs needed for the current site based on the original project specs and carry them out. The original developer is no longer working on the site but is available to answer questions. 2/. Right panel for affiliate links (adsense, iTunes and amazon for the time being) with an administrator backend to facilitate the addition of the relevant embed codes. 3/. Forum functionality using SMF -- [login to view URL] ([login to view URL]). (Same user details as main login) etc. 4/. Change url and logo to pnodb (domain secured and logo already created). 5/. Today's featured performance on the homepage - embedded video window of the performance that ranked the highest on the previous day. A list should be kept of all featured performances over time so people can easily access an archive of the site's most popular videos. 6/. Implement hybrid onboarding - [login to view URL] 7/. Implement SEO improvements such as permalinks, tags etc. 8/. Profile pages to indicate activity history and site reputation. Clicking on any username will lead to their user profile page which might contain information such as: User profile: [Username] is [status] e.g. Grade 5, Grade 8, Diploma etc. (see item 10 below). Points system to encourage user participation. Points would be awarded on the basis of value added to the database contents e.g. 1 point for each login. 2 points for verifications of user submitted records. 3 points for update/corrections. 5 points for each new performance or composition submission. 15 points for verified videoscores produced specifically for the site. 25 points for verified pianodb premieres. 50 points for verified pianodb premieres where no existing commercial recording exists. For a video to qualify as a pianodb premiere it must fulfill two criteria: 1/. The performer must be the same person as the submitter 2/. There must be no existing video of this same composition on youtube prior to the date this video was submitted. 10/. Status system based on points accumulated, with some piano type theme, e.g. grade 1 through 8 then diploma, and continuing up to other ranks, maybe named after famous piano competitions or composers. 11/. UGC verification system. There will be some sort of point awarding peer verification system whereby each new submission is put in a verification queue and sent out to two random volunteer users for verification. If there is a difference of opinion between the first two users, the same record will be sent to a third user to create a majority decision. Non-verified records can then be queued for review by site administration. 12/. Edit histories - to assist in policing the site we need a more wiki like system of tracking edit histories and archiving changed content so admin can go back and examine a particular user's behavior if necessary. Each page could have a history log with records such as: This performance was added at [timestamp] by [username] Composition details were added at [timestamp] by [username] Verified by [username] at [timestamp] 13/. Charts - In addition to the existing charts for pianists, composers, compositions and performances, we need to add charts for user participation - one for the most number of points, one for most number of pianodb premieres. Records for all charts should be cumulative so there can be charts for weekly, monthly, yearly, all time. 14/. Ranking - Graphing function of rankings over time as at imdb. 15/. Playlists/Shuffle - Allow people to go randomly through the collection - or through all the featured performances - or by composer - or by period (according to birthdates of the composers), or by pianist. 16/. Birthdays - Allow users to click on dates to see other pianists, composers and users with birthdays on the same day.
