Image upload and auto resize

Hello all. I would like an image upload script (will be various sizes) and have that image resized to a possible 3 other sizes. ***These sizes need to be called from a database. So they may be changed. The ratio of the image must be retained. No distortion at all. One of the sizes will be for thumbnails. I am up for discussion on how to handle the thumbnail resize. If possible I would like the thumbnail to show the whole image. I would like a graphic to show the image is being uploaded. The typical scrolling bar will suffice. The images info will need to be entered to a DB upon upload so the webpage can pick the proper size to display the image. I want the option to put a watermark on the image or not when I upload. The watermark will be from a .png I will create. Once the image is uploaded I would like to see a confirmation page that shows the images. Atleast the 2 smaller sizes and maybe a button or a link to view the largest. I would like the code to be for PHP5 and be commented. Examples of previous work will be highly welcomed. I will pay you when the job is finished. No money up front. Thank you
