Create a WP Plugin with GMail API

Hi. I have worked with the GMAIL Api to retrieve emails. I have done it using the .NET platform but since I have experience with PHP and also Wordpress plugins I am confident I can duplicate the functionality. From my experience with these kinds of projects the plugin needs to get a token from Gmail after the user authorizes the application to access his/her account. This token can then be stored in the database and used for subsequent requests.

Im looking for new and exciting project. Ive worked with wordpress and i have build also an restfull api so consuming gmail api isnt to hard. Ive worked also a little with the facebook graph api. Tell me more about this project in details.
