Web based meeting room booking system for displays and backend. 16-12-2012

We are seeking an Application developer to develop a system based on MySQL and run in PHP. We require that a set of web pages be developed to do the following. 1) To configure the number of and names of the meeting rooms. Along with some other record details like "floor number" "description" etc. Basically a back end to configure and set system norms. A full set of fields can be discussed. 2) A page that is used to schedule the events in the rooms. With space to enter the company/person who's hosting the event. The title of the event. And a possible itinerary. How long this event will last. And a date range. With the ability to add multiple rooms to one event. In the case that a customer wants to book a set of 3 rooms for example. This page should have a calendar like interface showing the month view. With each day showing the events that it has scheduled. 3) A web page to display the event. This is be used on a pc to display the information on screen. Each room will have a web page created. That dynamically refreshes the data displayed. It will have to be that it can also be styled with colour themes and logos. More can be discussed about this design side of the project. This web page needs to smart. So that when an event ends. Say at 5pm the page reverts to a standard empty event screen. With just say the date & time, room name. Etc... 4) A set of summary pages. Which for example summaries the whole company's events. Say on one main screen. Or it summaries a certain floor. Or set of rooms. This page also needs to be smart. And remove a result if the event ends at 5pm for example. And other events that end at 8pm will remain. Until no events remain. For example. 5) Common sense when we are designing. If anything needs to be asked of us. Please don't hesitate to ask during development. We don't want to suddenly have a new functionality or behavior. As our users are not very tech savy. A database has been created within SQL2005 already so this can be picked up upon and created in MYSQL. We currently already have this solution running as a .NET client running on machines that display room details. And SQL2005 server with the DB. And .NET application that is used to enter events, and also to configure other system options like, event screen themes. Screen dumps of the current system can shared to clarify our needs. ## Deliverables We will be paying for the deliverables via freelancer only to guarantee your rights as well as ours.
