Webcam: Track Head

I would like to create a device that will alow my webcam to track my head, and rotate the cam accordingly. The robotics section of this project is no problem, but it's the headtracking software part i need. My project will be in VB.Net, so I would like the code to be in VB.net, but in case this would be too slow, a C++/C DLL will do. As long as it will work with VB.Net 2003. So what I want is: An example application using DirectX to capture webcam video, and a class/sub/DLL to find my head in the streaming video (eg by drawing a circle around it). 3rd party software may be used, as long as you tell me and as long as it's free. For those that have played Eyetoy: AntiGrav for the ps2, it's a similar headtracking function i want. It's ok if I have to specify my head first... but once i told the program what my head is, it should be able to find it even if it moves. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
