Having developed several custom chart applications based on HTML5 and MySQL, we can not only unleash the whole power of Highstock Charts, which makes things extremely simpler with all its built-in functions that allow for a much faster development, but even adapt it until its last details in order to fit the particular needs and flavors of your own application. Source code is fully provided, so it's possible to change any specific behavior or add any new functionalities you may need. Different chart styles and data layouts are already included in the codebase, but there are always special representation modes that can be more suitable for particular types of data, and that can be easily customized knowing how the codebase works. Comments are also a very interesting feature that is already included in Highstock Charts, so the task of storing them into the database should not pose any problems. We have also worked intensively with AJAX requests, and we know very well how to apply them for graphic data so as to obtain the maximum needed resolution without exceeding the available resources of the given environment.
