Here we need various components with more than average complexity. 1. User management 2. Group management (groups could be permanent or temporary) 3. Video calling 4. Chatting 5. Push notification 6. Server to manage users, groups, messages, notifications, calling 7. Contacts 8. Designing 9. Local storage of messages 10. Server storage of messages 11. Syncing (Local to Server and Server to Local) 12. User identification and Sync (Different phone etc) 13. User capabilities (who all user can call, who all have your app) and many more To be very true I will provide you a more than average implementation, but will not give you advance (top class stuff in 2200).
