THE BUSINESS GOAL is to create an image overlay that floats over a web page, with a clickthrough URL and a "dismiss" button. The code to display the overlay will be served through DoubleClick for Publishers as a third-party creative. It must work without jQuery as a standalone ad unit. DoubleClick for Publishers provides a creative template to do something similar to this. Called the "Floating Flash Overlay", this creative template serves a Flash file, with an image as a backup. [login to view URL] However, I do not want to serve a Flash file; I simply want to serve an image. So I would like you to take DoubleClick's code and change it to _remove_ the requirement of serving Flash. When you are done, the creative will serve Flash only.

Hello, from what I understand from the DFP platform it is possible to server non flash based ads and instead convert anything to an HTML5 standard. This is to help support devices such as iOS etc. I would need to look into it more(I have not yet had the chance) to write something custom as well to use their data/variables and accomplish the same goal.
