Develop a Java Web Services

Need to develop a basic distributed application (of any kind of business) that uses web services (consume and provide) and accesses a database system (through JDBC) to implement some of the application’s functionalities. The exact details of the services are left for you to decide, and the type of interaction with the user (client side) can be done via simple input\output or a simple GUI. You will need to come up with a meaningful scenario where at least two different web services are available, and consume them in your program to achieve some user goals. One of these two services should be implemented by you as a SOAP web service, and the other should be coming from another provider. This provider can be any existing web service (SOAP or REST), or could be your classmates’ (from another group) web service implementation for this project (in that case, you need to agree on WSDL file or other details for consuming the service). You may use any Web Services stack/engine for your development (CXF is preferred, but usage of other engines is also acceptable).
