Hi Shane, So I looked at your Trelo account and compared it to the actual live site now bare in mind without looking under the hood which in your case there is no need since you want a overhaul there is allot of work, the way it has to be build is in layers since you will have multiple layers for example: User, user management, result management etc... this is probably the part where the previous developers got stuck. I can go into some really fine detail as I have been developing for about 7 years now and have been using Laravel since its initial release (amazing frame work) so good pick on the frame work I also like your design how ever due to limited number of characters here I would urge you to ping me so I can give you a better break down and more specific detailed approach to this project, Thanks Erik
