I’m Abhinav Kargupta, currently a first-year student at The University of Toronto, and a well-devoted programmer. I currently study Computer Science, and I’m doing well in terms of GPA compared to my other classmates.
Growing up, I’ve always had a fascination for computers. Thus, I’ve grown up teaching myself how to program by following various online courses and websites.
Now, that I’ve gotten the opportunity to pursue programming at a higher level of education, I take full advantage of it and try to keep my marks as high as possible. I will spend countless hours on a school assignment or personal project, optimizing a program until I feel I’ve reached a point where no one else can perfect in any aspect.
At my previous place of work, which is an industrial company located north of Toronto, CiF Lab Solutions, I was and still am regarded as a highly valued employee. I worked as an engineering intern, learning how to design and update products on AutoCAD to industry standard before they were manufactured in the assembly lines. I did this with the utmost dedication and hard work, as I do with programming. If a project had a mistake (which every project is bound to face, inevitably), I would continue to reprocess that project until no errors could be found.
My dedication and handwork to a project is the reason why you should consider hiring me, let alone the fact that I love this kind of work.
