I have a 3D model of a helicopter which i purchased online. I imported it into Fusion and I cant get it to convert to the correct format to become editable in Fusion. I need the model converted so that it is a solid model to enable me to change it (I'm making a shell for a RC helicopter). I have reasonable Fusion 360 skills. For example, i need to apply a thicknedd (skin) to it and be able to cut the front off etc. I will 3D print this. Note: I can buy a scale fiberglass kit ready to fit this RC helicopter for around $200 so if this is going to cost a lot to simply do a conversion I will probably not proceed with this idea.
