I want a reasonably simple spreadsheet or database set up for me. I realize that for now, an excel spreadsheet will be simpler, but I think as it grows and more data is entered into it, it will be easier to make historical comparisons and see trends (week vs week, quarter vs. quarter etc) better with a database, allowing me to make my own queries. I like the way Excel provides charts and graphs to view compariosns too - so I am definitely open to any ideas for the best solution. I know how I want it laid out and I know what data I want it to report - please see attached document, so it should be a reasonably quick job. If it looks nice too, great! Windows desktop software is also an option. I would also like to be able to easily share the data, or allow other people to see it and open it or change it, but I would need it to be password protected and I would need to set the user privilege levels. What is the best way to share this? Have a software that anyone can open? Facebook? MS Excel? How to update it and save old weeks? I do not want to overwrite each week. By the end of the year, I need 52 separate files. Please let me know your thoughts, and if I can have this by then end of the week. Thank you.

Hi, I was very impressed with your Microsoft Word calcuations, however to improve on this I would suggest utilising the MYOB Account Right Software. There are hundreds of reports that can be created in this program and I can get your company set up. Once I have set your company file, enetered all data, and double checked the data, I can then generate numerous reports that will assist you in analysing individual job costings, sales, budgets, BAS, etc. I can set up your company file, enter and review your data, provide you with initial reports and then show you how to do the same. I can give you a copy of the checklists I use when completing the work, so that you can complete the processes yourself.

The best way will be: - Keep the raw data in excel - Create pivot tables to analyze the data - Share the pivot tables with your colleagues (which connects with your database) - In the future you can take your data to an access database.
