I am seeking a skilled PCB antenna designer to work on two distinct antenna projects. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of antenna design and optimization, especially for PCBs, and should be capable of predicting antenna performance and, if possible, validating it. 1. Directional Antenna: Frequency: 1430MHz (primary focus), and 900MHz. Characteristics: It should be a narrow band or wide band design. The design should be focused on a directional radiation pattern. Requirements: Ability to predict and ideally validate the gain. Please specify the achievable gain for given sizes and shapes in your proposal. 2. Omnidirectional Antenna: Frequency: 1430MHz (primary focus), and 900MHz. Characteristics: It can be a narrow band or wide band design. The design should exhibit an omnidirectional radiation pattern. Skills Required: Strong background in antenna design and RF engineering. Experience with PCB antenna design and simulations. Familiarity with relevant software tools for predicting antenna performance. Validation capabilities would be a significant plus.

Hi I had both research and industrial experience of more than 6 years in Antenna, RF and Microwave circuit design using Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, and Keysight ADS. I have designed antennas like Microstrip Patch, Printed Dipole, Printed Monopole, Horn, Dielectric Resonator, Vivaldi antennas and circuits like Power Amplifiers, LNAs, Power dividers and so on. I have gone through your description and understood that you need 2 types of antennas a. Directional Antenna b. Omni-Directional Antenna in a frequency range of 1430 MHz (primary) and 900 MHz. Inputs needed: 1. Frequency- Already shared above 2. BW- shared that narrowband or wideband anything is fine 3. Substrate/ PCB material and its PCB dielectric constant? 4. Substrate thickness? Outputs: 1. S11 and VSWR 2. Smith Chart plot 3. Gain and Directivity 4. Radiation Efficiency Generally there is a theory in Antenna that, the Gain is directly proportional to size of antenna. So, with increase in sizes we can easily predict the gain of an antenna and mid also we can get it through a simulation tool. I can also validate the designed antenna with fabrication and testing.
