I am looking for an experienced freelancer to help me create a drone lifting force instrument using Arduino for an academic research project. The instrument should be able to accurately measure and record the maximum weight that the drone can lift. Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in Arduino programming and circuit design - Knowledge of drone mechanics and operation - Experience in sensor integration and data recording - Understanding of academic research methodologies and data analysis Requirements: - The drone lifting force instrument should be able to measure weights less than 1 kg accurately. - As I do not have a specific model of drone in mind, I am open to suggestions for the best drone to use for this project. - The purpose of the lifting force instrument is for academic research, so it should be able to provide reliable and accurate data for analysis. Hello, I have all skills and experience related to the project: - experience with drones as a hobby, measuring a lifting force was an everyday practice; - experience with digital scales: repair and software issues, calibration; - graduated from a technical college for measurements (my first education), so I have idea of measurements and errors; - Arduino and electronics are my main job now. I understand the task as follow: the drone is fixed on the instrument, the full throttle is given via drone's remote control, then a button on the instrument is pressed and the instrument registers the force from the drone during some time, then records the average value. If something more elaborate is needed - let my know. From my experience the lifting force is pretty unstable with time, drifting down within seconds, I think it is due to the motors heating (coils resistance increase), and mainly due to the air circulation in the room. Anyway, some averaging is a must. My first approach to design is: a weight cell used in digital scales, relevant software exist in Arduino environment. Plus a special Arduino board and Arduino MCU, all hardware is easily available and inexpensive. Contact me if interested. Best Regards Anatolii
