Hello sir, i can design this system for you, we can design a small hardware which will not only count the number of pencils inside the box but also will be able to send it through bluetooth to the application inside the smartphone. but i need to know the details of the box, your final budget, deadline and size of the design .

I study Eletric Engeneering and have verry good experience with arduino and other peripheric boards. Im new at the site but I have all the requirements that you need to have this project done fast. I've already worked on a arduino based project that was published at the bigest magazine here at Brazil and did got many prizes with it.
