What You'll Do: You will be at the helm of the electrical components, driving their lifecycle from conception to integration. Your key role will involve collaborating closely with suppliers and delineating the component specs. Bridging the gap between suppliers and project teams will be a significant part of your responsibility, ensuring the quality and punctuality of deliverables. Immersing yourself in systems engineering principles, you'll be pivotal in the evolution and integration of components. Responsibilities: • Take full ownership of the electrical component lifecycle, from inception to integration. • Collaborate intimately with the technical systems delivery team and customer stakeholders. • Define testing methodologies ensuring the alignment of electrical components with customer requirements. • Serve as the key link between suppliers and project teams, upholding standards of quality and time. • Engage deeply with systems engineering principles in the advancement and integration of components. • Regularly update the JIRA system for optimized project tracking, risk evaluation, and issues management. Who We Are Looking For: • Robust experience in an Electrical Engineering role with a pronounced focus on component-specific tasks. • A track record of cascading requirements management in a systematic fashion. • Hands-on experience in steering and overseeing the delivery of electrical components. • Comprehensive understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management. • Experience in supplier/OEM roles, emphasizing the seamless delivery of premium components. • Some background in project engineering, with skills in planning, interfacing with clients, and navigating change and risks. It Would Be An Asset If You Also Have: • Expertise in Network Architecture and communications protocols. • Acquaintance with Diagnostic tools, specifically CANalyzer, used for system/component integration. • Proficiency with Engineering Quality Tools, notably Failure Mode Avoidance (FMEA). • Experience with electrical protocols such as CAN bus, Ethernet, and a background in PCB. • An academic background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science, or an equivalent blend of qualification and experience. Skills To Excel In This Role: • Profound knowledge of Electrical/Electronic systems down to the component intricacies. • Proven proficiency in system and software test verification strategies. • Demonstrable experience spanning the entire lifecycle of a component, coupled with the aptitude to liaise effectively both internally and across organizations.
