Our company delivers career education products and information to senior high school students, their parents and career teachers and advisors. Our business creates career resources delivered through a biweekly newsletter/bulletin currently in a Word format. This content is accessible via my website and app. The product's design has remained largely unchanged, with only minor graphic design updates since the business's inception. We are now looking to transition fully online and aim to enhance the delivery of information, making it more captivating, engaging, and user-friendly. I am open to input from a UI/UX designer and willing to embrace positive changes for improvement. You can access the app by searching for "Options Career Information" on Apple or Google and using the code OCI. This will provide you with an overview of our current offerings. I have attached a sample of our career information bulletin to the ad. If you'd like access to the website, I can facilitate that as well. Our existing platform is somewhat dated, and the information may appear cluttered, making it less engaging for users. I am exploring ways to revitalize and enhance our products, making them more interesting, engaging, and easily accessible. This is particularly important as our subscribers have a wide range of IT skills, and I want to ensure the platform caters to all levels of technical proficiency. My readers range in age from 15 years to 70 years! But I am more interested in engaging the younger ones 15 - 18 years Design: I do wish to retain the current color scheme, and I appreciate the existing style of the website, although I am open to suggestions for improvement. My primary emphasis is on enhancing the bulletin product. I believe it should depart from the conventional 'Newsletter' style, introducing a more dynamic and engaging format. Furthermore, I am exploring opportunities to incorporate advertising space, aiming to offer this on both the website and the bulletins. I think there needs to be a better correlation between the online bulletin product and the App so that they look more appealing when people first open them. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting an engaging experience that empowers high school students and parents to research career options, essential in making informed career decisions. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a UX/UI contractor with a focus on educational products would be beneficial but not essential. • Portfolio showcasing successful projects with a strong emphasis on user-centred design. • Familiarity with the unique design considerations for high school students, parents and career teachers and advisors. • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
