To Whom it May Concern, I am seeking a freelance design position and I believe that I would be the perfect match for your project. My background includes studying at Parsons School of Design in NYC where I specialized in womenswear RTW, womenswear couture and lingerie. I currently work in NYC as an assistant designer for Badgley Mischka’s couture eveningwear womenswear design team. I work closely with the creative director assisting her with tech packs, designing via hand sketching, technical flat drawings via adobe illustrator, hand sewing and embroidery, sourcing materials for sample production, researching inspiration images and putting together mood boards. Secondly, I worked as an assistant designer for Yes London in Naples, Italy in their womenswear RTW streetwear division where I assisted the creative director and production team to help create fashion illustrations, technical flat drawings and technical packages for production. Lastly, I worked as a full-time embroiderer for Italian haute couture in Rome, Italy for: Fendi, Gucci and Valentino where I was trained in Italian haute couture embroidery techniques.
