We need an API that connects two servers in our back-end system. In Server A certain transaction data is stored which Server B needs to fetch in regular intervals to allow the processing of such data at Server B. An authentication step will need to be implemented to make sure that Server A knows that it is Server B that wants to fetch the data that are stored in a database in Server A. The polling is performed in regular but short intervals by Server B in order to check whether new transaction requests are available in Server A. Within Server B a number of agents await the arrival of new data to process them according to a certain logic using certain algorithms.
