I'm seeking an experienced pastry chef to join my team on a short-term basis, while I search for a permanent chef. The ideal candidate should be able to handle a variety of pastry types.
Key responsibilities include:
- Crafting desserts, cakes etc for special events, cafeteria, private dining and conferences
- Ensuring consistency and quality across all pastry types
- Assisting in the development of a bakery or café menu
The initial production expectation is varied, depending on the occasion, but it usually ranges from 50-200 pastries/cakes per day.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef, preferably with a wide range of pastry types
- Strong understanding of pastry techniques, ingredients and flavour combinations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver consistently high-quality products
- Good communication skills and a team player attitude
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle different production volumes and demand
