Create an educational minigame

BUBBLEDROP This is for an educational resource to reward students and to teach. We are aiming at around 5-10 days and £250-£500 in total. There will be a potential constant stream of minigame projects to be made if we are happy with this project and we will always prioritise freelancers we have successfully used before. SUMMARY Need to create a game in Unity 3d to be used as a webplayer. This will have to have fully annotated to explain all the code, in particular any parts relevant to settings, speeds etc. that may require adjustments at a later date. The game needs to ‘call’ for an asset pack containing all your graphics, sounds etc. Your asset pack must be created in a way that it is an easy template for further asset packs to be created from at a later date. • We require an educational mini-game that will be used as part of our package of online learning resources for schools. • The game must be made using Unity 3d. • The game must be made so it can use other asset packs in the future with no extra coding (these will be created in-house at EDLounge). • It must be able to externally save and retrieve high scores. • When coding, please use as many annotations as possible and keep the code as ‘clean’ as possible so any future adaptations and upgrades to the game can be done in-house. • 1 play through of the game should aim to last around 3 minutes at most. • This should be compatible with webplayer, iPhone and ideally Android, so please keep this in mind when creating the game. • It needs to be completed within the agreed timeframe and to the requested standards and specifications or payment may not be made. It is essential that you only bid if you are confident in your abilities in game creation, as an unfinished, poor quality or ‘bugged’ game will not be paid for. • Only freelancers with a good reputation who can show us samples of completed games and evidence that they can make the code, graphics and SFX will be considered. • Consider this a trial position as we have many future games that will require development following the successful completion of this project. EDITABLE ASSETS All graphics need to be made in full by you and placed within an asset folder which can be accessed outside the game. In addition, all the content for the game in terms of graphics, text and sounds need to be customisable so we can create variations on this game to teach different subjects. The game need to launch using a text file (which will be generated by us) that tells it what parameters and asset pack to use.
