Design a good "FOTA" (Firmware over the AIR) solution

Imagine sending fimrware to ESP8622 over MQTT. * BOTTLOADER with 2 firmware, firmware can not fail, therefore I need boot booter with a "firmware in the bottom that takes if new ones do not work as it should.
