I believe this to be a micro project, but correct me if I am wrong. It's basically a program that searches all of the textual files (.txt .rtf .doc and so on) in all of the subdirectories of %userprofile% for keywords that are included in a separate list, and when a match is found, the name of the files where the match is found, and the lines where the match is found, are printed in a separate file. So basically, there is a file with a long list of keywords, stored in a line by line fashion, with no spaces in any of the keywords, and the program takes that list and scans all of the text/document files in all of the subdirectories of %userprofile% for those keywords, and prints the name/line when match is found. I am not experienced in assembly language at all, so I am open to suggestions and improvements. Also, if possible, it would be helpful to exclude appdata from the search, as I don't believe there is a chance of relevant files being found there, it would reduce efficiency to spend time searching there. Hi I can write the program you request in 64-bit Assembly though I don't see any benefits in using it, unless you have special purpose in mind. Also, in Assembly it won't be a minor project.
