I have provided a screenshot of what the backend looks like. What I want is a Custom Option Template module, with a twist: that the custom options would only be displayed in a lightbox-type pop-up when a button is clicked. For the sake of speed, this will need to be AJAXified. [login to view URL] Prescription Form Module Development Outline: Instead of the way we have it setup now, I would like to have two Add to Cart buttons. [Add to Cart with Prescription] [Add to Cart without Prescription] If a person selects [add prescription lenses], then a Lightbox prescription form would come up right there on the page, no refresh or redirect. If [Add to Cart without Prescription Lenses] is selected then the product would be added to cart without any custom options. All of the options in the prescription form would be fully customizable through the back-end. Something similar to the way custom options is currently set-up, although with a few more modifications. I have provided a screenshot of the way it's currently set-up. Important Features: - Two Add to Cart buttons. If no form is to be displayed for product, then only [Add to Cart]. - Multiple form templates, the form that is displayed will depend on the attributes of a product. Form can also be disabled entirely if a product has a specific attribute. At the top of each template, I can rename the Add to Cart buttons. - Option Dependencies. - Images for individual Options. - In-line Description for Individual Options. - Tool-tip pop-up Descriptions for individual options. (Example: Get More Info under "Enter Prescription" option group) - Tool-tip pop-up are already handled by our prototype tool-tip library. - One option group per page. - AJAX powered. Example. Step 1 -> Step 2 -> Finish. Each option group will be individual step. Option to display multiple option groups per step. Our prototype tooltip library supports AJAX, so that should have on development time. We use prototip 2: [[login to view URL]<wbr />projects/prototip2/][2]. Essentially, we would like to keep most of the features we currently have, plus some new features. Also, this needs to be fast. No jQuery, prototype library only.
