Create a web application in Node.JS which has a single streaming server, and can stream multiple (say 8 IP camera streams). To be more specific: 1) You can use FFMPEG/LibVLC/OpenCV to read RTSP streams from IP camera 2) Use a single streaming server which can stream them. Preferably we would like to use a compressed stream rather than MJPEG stream 3) Be able to view the stream output in a browser frontend (via HTML/JS/VideoJS) The application must be able to connect and stream to 8 IP cameras concurrently. The application decoding the RTSP can be in c++ (if using opencv) or can be a command line (if using ffmpeg). The goal is to be able to view the output of 8 IP cameras in a single browser with no lag/delays/compute bottlenecks.

The heart of this would be a threaded opencv dispatch/frame loop that would serve an html5 video stream to browser (wrapped for async node.js). Relevant Skills and Experience I've written c++ opencv html5 servers for opencv-to-browser video streaming (all mjpeg). I've done some threaded multiple-cam opencv projects also. I am familiar with nodejs opencv c++ wrapping.
