Subtitling five English-language videos (basic transcript provided) English to Portuguese( Brazilian)

Hello, I am a Brazilian Portuguese native speaker with over 15 years experience translating from English & Spanish to Brazilian Portuguese. I am also able to subtitle your videos as described. I´ve listening to your sample and it is clear. The project seems to be a very interesting one. However, in case you are interested in my bid, I would need to know whether you need a hard or soft subtitle. Hard subtitles are inserted as part of the video and can not be removed later on, in which case the cost would be higher and the size of the one video file would be also bigger. It normally loses just a little bit of quality of the original video, as well. On the other hand, soft subtitles work together with the video file to show the subtitles accordingly. This is much faster, also very common and cheaper. Moreover, it does not interfere in the video quality at all. In case you are interested in the soft subtitle I would be more than glad to provide it. I usually do not deal with hard subtitles as it demands too much video editing which is not the case for a translator. :) As to the deadline, it might be a bit long but I am about to finish a huge project by Tuesday. I have got a high level Brazilian Portuguese consistent with the latest orthographic agreement of the language.
