We are looking for a writer to create a step by step tutorial on how to use Google Analytics. In particular, the objective is to show how to do a split test or A B test, for a website, and follow through the goals to demonstrate the conversion rates for two different test home pages pages.
The tutorial should be written to the level of a person with very little technical experience, giving them the necessary information but not overload them with theory. It should just lead them through the basic steps from beginning to end. We'd like to see screen shots for the various steps involved.
Subjects should include, but not be limited to:
An overview of what Google Analytics is
Why a webmaster should use Google Analytics
Signing up with Google Analytics
How to set up the various tracking codes on a website
How to analyze the various reports
How to set up goals
How to set up filters
And again... to repeat the objective is to demonstrate how to take a website with two different homepages, and track sales to each one of them.
The report should be from 30 to 50 pages in length (more if a lot of screen shots are included.) The report must be original content, not copied from any other website or printed material.
The report must be done with proper English grammar and spell checking. It should include screen shots where appropriate.
Prospective writer must provide samples of previous writing. This could develop into more similar tutorials for the right author.
