I am a management faculty guiding PG level MBA students in their academic projects for more than a decade. Many of these require SPSS Statistics for data analysis. Besides I have done several courses in data analysis using R, excel SPSS modeler etc. I would request to give the contextual details - e.g. Abstract / objectives, questionnaire if any , etc. while sending the data file. This will help in cleaning the data and modifying the variables to match the objectives etc. The steps in the data analysis would include EDA, Descriptive and inferential Statistical analysis, predictive and prescriptive analysis if applicable. The report would contain findings and recommendation. I expect the client to make clear his requirement and request changes after I complete the project and submit it instead of micromanaging at every step.
