I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for Windows . Determine optimal combination of components to reach a determined list of subcomponents with minimal cost and waste. The components are made out of a combination of up to four subcomponents (there are a total of 7 subcomponents and 6 main components) that are found in different fixed amounts in different components. The cost is tied to the subcomponents. And needs to be able to be changed when needed by the software user.

By waste do you mean as less as possible unused subcomponents? I take that there are 7 different subcomponents but they can repeat between the main components. The cost is for main components right? If you choose me to develop this I would like to store all the components information in an XML or another easy to edit format along the software so you can easily add more components / edit prices / edit names
