I want to create a web app in RoR with functionality relating to TV-shows, and am looking for a mentor to stay with me through the project and guide me to get it right. I am looking for someone to help guide me to choose a good architecture for the project, get input on which gems to use and generally help me clarify which tasks I should do next to complete the project. I plan to use this project to learn myself RoR and get more comfortable programming a bigger project than small tutorials etc. My experience with RoR is not that great, but I have tens of years of tech experience, scripting etc, and am familiar with syntaxes of JS, HTML, CSS, SQL, and also experience managing iOS projects with their technical issues. I also have some architecture experience. I am looking for a very experienced RoR developer with some patience, time to spare and an interest in mentoring a new developer to become self-sufficient. You won't have to write a single line of code - but task me to do it instead :) I imagine 10-15 sessions every 3-5 days, lasting 30-60 minutes each. That is a max of 60 minutes! I can release a milestone per session for instance. I want to pay a per-session fee to you. Sessions are on Skype. You MUST have VERY GOOD skills in spoken English, with good pronounciation! I will need to talk to you briefly first to VERIFY this! I look forward to hearing from you :)
