Dear potential employer! I hope I can assist. I have been building kubernetes clusters for about a year in the Azure cloud environment. We are currently running version 1.7 with minimal cloud integration (Azure is quite new to the cloud infrastructure game) However, I have yet to delve deeply into EC2 (AWS) and although I have been dabbling on Amazon Web Services I have yet to build a Kubernetes cluster on those. I know that things like static IPs are not available and thus setting up worker nodes to connect to the master node takes a different guise. That is something I will need to investigate initially. Other considerations are things like "volume mounts" and your ingress controllers that may or may not be difficult to achieve initially... That said - what cluster will you be looking for? - Simple cluster with one master and a few worker nodes? - Production ready cluster? - Cloud integrated cluster? - Something generated by a "turn key" solution (not my preferred setup...) I am also wondering about the CI/CD part in your job. Is the CI/CD driving the creation of the EC2 instances or are these pre-existing EC2 instances that serves the automation? More information will be required for me to bid accurately! I am bidding at 20 hours weekly limit but this can vary per week - so please do not think I am limited to that time. It is simply my minimum limit that I will commit to for this project!
