Gaming Website

Hello, this trial project concerns the making of a gaming website which will be in french. Don't worry, if you don't know about this language, we will just tell you how to translate the required words. You will have to use Wordpress and plugins to match the style of [login to view URL] feature wise, and from a design view. While not copying it, you are to create something along its lines - clear, fast and effective. The main challenges will be : to find (or code, if can't found) plugins that will allow all or at least most features available from our example, integrate a phpBB3 forum for users (and a user interface) among others. In a nutshell, here are the features from our example ; :: Main Page :: - Featured Content gallery (we can give you the script, and it's available for free on the web) - News items with image at the left, author beneath the title and number of comments. - AdSense features - Login/Register for new users :: Main Content :: - Game Cards (ex : [login to view URL]), with related articles / screenshots / videos - Search engine - Pagination for articles (other than news, ex : [login to view URL]) Of course there are many other features but you will have to check the example to get a better overview. Please keep in mind the following ; we want something similar because we are students and can't afford a custom-coded Gamespot-ish website. By choosing Wordpress and plugins, we think we will allow you to develop something quick without too many headaches - and we couldn't offer thousands anyway as we are rather poor =). We have a couple of good templates you could modify to suit our needs, including all RevolutionTwo ([login to view URL]) templates so this can really help you since they feature many of our needed stuff like the featured content scroll on main page, images for news items, etc. Here's a good ressource for plugins : [login to view URL] The website will have to look professional.
