Pencak Silat is a deadly Indonesian martial art that combines the most applicable and beautiful forms into one complete style. Silat contains several elements including; sports, self defense, art form and spiritual enlightenment. It combines ‘no rules’ stand-up techniques with multiple attacks using all limbs. It includes take down techniques, locks and holds rendering the opponent immobile. The self defense aspect includes how to defend armed opponents and the use of weaponry. This art form also offers techniques to help balance your mind, body and spirit.
